GREEN RUN BAPTIST CHURCH
Tidewater Classical Academy is a ministry of Green Run Baptist Church. Our vision is to assist parents fulfill their commission to "bring [their children] up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Ephesians 6:4 (ESV) Our desire is to add (1) grade a year, until we are a full, K-12 classical Christian school.
The school is managed by a school board, made up of both members and non-members of Green Run Baptist. Daily school activities are under the supervision of the principal. Ultimate oversight of the school is handled by the elder board of Green Run Baptist. To learn more about our leadership, click here.
OUR LOGO
The shield represents the “shield of faith” while the green wreath is the “victory crown” of King Jesus. The red border signals the blood shed, by our Savior, for our sins. The center design is the Triquetra, or “Trinity Knot”, an ancient Christian symbol of the three Persons of the Trinity, joined as One.
The three Latin words are Veritas (Truth), Fides (Faith), and Gratia (Grace). These three words represent the foundational virtues that we seek to build in each of our students. Our logo was designed by Dr. Bill Ventura.
